US Producer to Record 10 Artists on Sounds of Malawi Record Label Project

Harlan Talking about Sounds of Malawi Project. MBC Photo credit  Veteran American producer  Harlan Steinberger will be back in Malawi next month to work on a Sounds of Malawi record label, having produced the successful self-titled album Keturah by local girl Keturah. After working with Keturah, the Grammy-nominated producer who has recorded a number of other well-known musicians at his Hen House Studios became captivated by Malawian music and launched the Sounds of Malawi record label. Director of the Jacaranda Cultural Centre (JCC), Luc Deschamps, who arranged for Keturah to go to the United States to record her album with his wife Marie Da Silva, called the project significant for Malawi and revealed that it will be published globally once it was completed. “As promised last year when he came to Malawi for Keturah’s album launch, Harlan Steinberger is back in Malawi next month.
