CASSPER NYOVEST AND YOUNG STUNNA HEADLINES FOR THE KUMINGOLI BASH


 The 2024 Ku Mingoli Bash is set to be an unforgettable event with an incredible lineup of artists. The organisers have just revealed that South African Hip-hop sensation Cassper Nyovest and Amapiano star Young Stunna will be headlining the show. This announcement has created a buzz of excitement among fans, as these two artists were chosen based on popular demand. 

Local artist Tay Grin has been named as the headliner for the event. The announcement was made in Lilongwe, and the Chief Executive Officer for Sound addicts, Shadreck Kalukusha, expressed his anticipation for a massive turnout of 20,000 people. He believes that this year's Bash will be one of the best ever, with a tremendous amount of support from fans.

Kalukusha hinted at the possibility of adding a Jamaican or Nigerian artist to the lineup, which would further elevate the excitement surrounding the event. He emphasized that the Ku Mingoli Bash provides an exceptional platform for marketing, making it crucial for businesses to be a part of the show to promote their products.

Not only will the event showcase international and local talent, but it will also feature popular artists from Malawi, as well as up-and-coming artists. This diverse lineup aims to cater to a wide range of musical preferences and ensure an unforgettable experience for all attendees.

In a statement with Nyasa Times, Willy Kapenuka, the Marketing Manager for TECNO, expressed their commitment to promoting art in the country and their partnership with Soundaddicts for this grand show. As a testament to their support, Tecno will also have brand ambassadors at the event, including Pop young and Kellie Devine.

The local artists announced yesterday, including Zeze Kingston, Saint, Temwa, Lulu, Piksy, Gibo Pearson, and Sean Morgan, further add to the excitement and anticipation surrounding the Ku Mingoli Bash. With such a stellar lineup, this event is sure to be a highlight of the year for music lovers in Malawi and beyond.

US Producer to Record 10 Artists on Sounds of Malawi Record Label Project

Harlan Talking about Sounds of Malawi Project. MBC Photo credit  Veteran American producer  Harlan Steinberger will be back in Malawi next month to work on a Sounds of Malawi record label, having produced the successful self-titled album Keturah by local girl Keturah. After working with Keturah, the Grammy-nominated producer who has recorded a number of other well-known musicians at his Hen House Studios became captivated by Malawian music and launched the Sounds of Malawi record label.
