"CONTROLLER'' TO STAR AT URBAN MUSIC FESTIVAL

Chitoliro Productionz, the organizers of Urban Music People (UMP), have just made an exciting announcement for the 2024 edition of the festival, called The Evolution. They have revealed that the talented afro-pop musician Onesimus will be headlining the event. After a seven-year hiatus, UMP is making a comeback and will take place at the beautiful Cape Maclear in Mangochi from October 25 to 28.

Marie Thom, the UMP Festival Spokesperson, expressed their enthusiasm about having Onesimus on board, describing him as "a man of the moment." This award-winning musician has been making waves in the industry, especially with his latest romantic song 'Controller,' which has captivated audiences both locally and internationally. Even renowned Nigerian artist Rudebwoy couldn't resist its charm.

UMP initially started as a mini concert at Grin Bamboo in Blantyre back in 2009. Over the years, it has grown into a remarkable festival, previously known as Urban Music Party before rebranding to Urban Music People. The festival has showcased numerous renowned artists and has also been a platform for discovering hidden talents. It has been held at various venues such as BAT Ground in Blantyre, the French Cultural Centre, and the Blantyre Sports Club.

Get ready for an unforgettable experience at UMP's The Evolution in 2024, where music, culture, and talent will come together in the picturesque setting of Cape Maclear.
