The Zomba City Festival kicked off yesterday and will run until Sunday, offering a diverse range of activities in music, theatre, visual arts, and drama to entertain the attendees. According to the organizers, the three-day event will take place across five venues and eight stages, including popular spots like the University of Malawi, Dominos, Botanical Gardens, Heritage Centre, and Chalice Vine. Festival Creative Director and founder Laura Schuerwegen expressed excitement about the festival's role in showcasing the cultural richness of the old capital city through various art forms.
